I’ve just had a review posted on my Facebook. Its an incredibly brave move to do so. Posting this may mean that somebody finally gets the help they need. Mental health is a problem that people don’t like to talk about, and the taboo of mental health problems means that people often don’t get the help they need. So – Why Are You Still Struggling?
Lets start talking about mental health and encouraging others to do so too. If you get the ‘right’ help, there are solutions to everything so why continue to struggle?
It’s a huge honour for me to work with every single person that asks me for help. Sometimes the people I see have quite severe mental health issues, Alternatively, they have things that they would just like to make better sense of.
I’m totally committed to helping people create the changes they need. Over the years, I’ve developed a bit of a reputation for being a bit forthright. However, I make no apologies for ‘saying it as it is,’ but I always do it with the greatest empathy.
I feel your pain….I just don’t want you to have it anymore…..ever. So why are you still struggling?
When you know that the work you do changes peoples lives it’s incredibly life affirming and rewarding.
Often I talk to people about what they want their life to have been about. For example, understanding what was their ‘contribution’ to the world? Helping people turn their life around is mine.
It’s impossible to describe how overwhelming it is when I receive feedback like this.
‘Wendy changed my life. I came to her completely broken, both physically and mentally. As I nervously walked into her office for the very first time, I was greeted with big blue eyes and the most infectious smile I have ever seen. I immediately felt at ease, the butterflies in my stomach settled and I was ready to tell her my story.
I felt like Wendy understood me, she cared about me, she liked me and she made me feel like she wasn’t the only person that did.
Wendy made me see life in a completely different way and for the first time in a very long time, I’m happy with who I am. I didn’t only use Wendy’s advice to help me get better in the short term. It’s advice for life that I will always live by.
Worth every penny. Wendy has made a huge impact on my life and if you are ever debating between therapists, consider spending that little bit extra on Wendy. If I could give her 10 stars, I would”
