At eighteen, I faced a frightening health issue—Bell’s palsy—that my doctor believed was stress-induced. This difficult experience led me to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), a journey that transformed my life.
At the time, I was dealing with intense anxiety, insomnia, overwhelming stress, and using unhealthy coping mechanisms. Life felt daunting, and emotional struggles seemed insurmountable.
Through CBT, I learned valuable strategies to manage stress, overcome anxiety, and gain control over my emotional health. I gradually reclaimed a sense of confidence, improved my sleep, enhanced my relationships, and learned healthier ways to cope with life’s challenges.
Today, my personal experience informs my compassionate, practical approach as a psychologist. I’ve discovered firsthand that whether you’re facing anxiety, stress, depression, relationship problems or other emotional hurdles, it’s possible to cultivate resilience, confidence, and peace.
I now comfortably engage in various social situations, public speaking engagements, and even media appearances—things I once thought impossible. But this isn’t about becoming outgoing; it’s about discovering inner strength and emotional well-being that empowers every area of your life.
Whatever challenges you’re facing, you don’t have to face them alone. With the right support and strategies, you can find greater emotional health, peace, and confidence. Remember, your challenges are stepping stones to discovering your strengths.
