The number of people suffering from anxiety in the UK is on the increase. During 2009 a study reported that Anxiety had affected 1 in 6 people in the last week. Current estimates put that to be nearer 1 in 5.
Anxiety is a perfectly normal response to stress or danger and is often called the ‘flight or fight’ response. There is help for this if you or someone you know is suffering.

Firstly, the process involves adrenalin being quickly pumped through the body enabling it to cope with whatever catastrophe may come its way. Certainly, it’s something we will have all experienced at one time or another.
